-- The Cai Mep - Thi Vai international gateway port in Ho Chi Minh City will be modernized into a major international transshipment port of regional and global scale, heard a meeting recently chaired by standing vu e-chairman Nguyen Van Tho. The municipal Department of Construction and consulting units will finalize a draft proposal for the continued development and modernization of the port.
-- The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Construction has given the green light for V-Green Global Charging Station Development JSC, a Vingroup subsidiary, to install electric vehicle charging stations on Huyen Tran Cong Chua Street in Ben Thanh Ward and at two locations within the Khanh Hoi Park area in Vinh Hoi Ward.

-- As of 3:00 pm on Wednesday, the historic flooding in Thai Nguyen Province, northern Vietnam had left four people dead, two missing, and some 200,000 households submerged.
