The airport climbed nine places to rank 75th globally, up from 84th in 2025, and was also listed among the top 10 terminals in Asia.
Skytrax, a London-based international air transport rating organization, announced the results as part of its annual awards.
A Da Nang airport official said the improved ranking reflects recent investments in infrastructure and passenger services.
Terminal T1 underwent major upgrades, including expanded business lounges, renovated restrooms and smoking areas, additional seating, green spaces, information counters, and feedback stations.

Advertising spaces and check-in areas were also redesigned with modern interiors.
New signage, flight information displays, and check-in counters were installed to streamline passenger flow.
Amenities such as high-speed Wi-Fi, charging stations, free drinking water, digital maps, luggage wrapping, and work desks were added
Services for VIPs, elderly passengers, people with disabilities, and families with children were expanded.
The airport has also embraced digital transformation, introducing automated toll systems, airport data management software, AI-powered passenger flow analysis, chatbot assistance, and automated tray return systems.
In 2025, the airport pioneered smart terminal technology, applying biometric registration and automated boarding gates to reduce waiting times.
