At various points along the shore—including Nguyen Tat Thanh Beach, Tho Quang Port, and especially Man Thai Beach—heaps of garbage have washed ashore in recent days.
The thick layer of waste includes plastic bottles, styrofoam boxes, plastic bags, old clothing, rotting wood, and even syringes.
Long sections of Man Thai Beach have turned dark from the accumulated debris, damaging the coastal landscape and harming the marine ecosystem.

Nguyen Dong, a resident living near Man Thai Beach, said trash has been coming in with the tides for several days.
"After every storm or period of rough seas, the beach ends up buried in trash," he shared.
Coastal zones near Nguyen Tat Thanh Street and Tho Quang Port have also been flooded with all kinds of marine debris.
Items like fishing nets and clothes have become tangled in the sand, further complicating the cleanup.

Many sanitation workers have been deployed near Tho Quang Port to collect trash.
"Over the past few days, the trash keeps coming. As soon as we finish one section, more arrives. It's exhausting," one worker said.
Tran Dai Nghia, deputy head of the Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang tourist beaches management board, told Tuoi Tre (Youth) newspaper that the agency is coordinating with relevant departments to remove trash as quickly as possible.

He said cleanup efforts are focused on beaches popular with tourists. However, since waves continue to bring in new debris, the board will keep dispatching more workers and equipment as needed.
In the worst-hit areas, mechanical vehicles have been brought in to speed up the process.
Storm Bualoi made landfall in Ha Tinh Province in the early hours of Monday and pounded the Nghe An to Quang Tri region for up to 12 hours.
