Local authorities said they received an emergency call around midday reporting that a foreign tourist was in distress.

Firefighting and rescue units quickly dispatched a specialized vehicle and personnel to the site.

Rescuers trekked through steep, rugged terrain before locating the woman, identified as K.B., at about 12:00 pm.

Medical staff from the 115 emergency service provided first aid on the spot.

She was then carried down the mountain on a stretcher and handed over to hospital staff at 12:20 pm for further care.

Officials credited the swift coordination between rescue teams and medical personnel for ensuring the tourist’s safety.

They said that the incident highlights the risks of trekking and mountain climbing, especially for older travelers or those unprepared for strenuous conditions.

Authorities advised hikers to prepare adequately with water, proper equipment, and physical readiness to avoid similar emergencies.
