Fire drill in Saigon River Tunnel rescheduled

Originally planned for the afternoons of September 23 and 24, with the main exercise on September 26, the drill has been moved to later dates to ensure that personnel and equipment can be allocated more effectively amid other ongoing events and standby assignments.

During the official drill, vehicle access through the Saigon River Tunnel on Mai Chi Tho Avenue in An Khanh Ward will be temporarily suspended.

The new schedule includes training sessions on September 25 and 26 from 10:00 pm to 11:45 pm.

The main drill will now be conducted at 9:00 on the morning of Sunday, September 28.

Alternative routes:

From Saigon Ward to An Khanh Ward: Vo Van Kiet Avenue → a road parallel with Vo Van Kiet → Vo Van Kiet → Ton Duc Thang Street → Ba Son Bridge → R12 Street → To Huu Street → Mai Chi Tho Avenue.

From An Khanh Ward to Saigon Ward: Mai Chi Tho → To Huu Street → R12 Street → Ba Son Bridge → Le Duan Boulevard → Nam Ky Khoi Nghia Street → Vo Van Kiet.
