Fireworks illuminate Hanoi sky for Reunification Day celebration

The combination of high-altitude and low-altitude fireworks lit up the sky, witnessed by thousands of capital city residents.

The event was organized by the Hanoi People’s Committee as part of an art and political program held at My Dinh National Stadium.

At 9:45 pm sharp, fireworks were launched into the sky, drawing cheers and excitement from the crowd.

The weather was favorable, with clear sky and cool breezes, creating perfect conditions for an enjoyable night of fireworks.

Hanoi will hold another fireworks display from 9:45 pm to 10:00 pm on April 27, according to an agreement with the Vietnam Television. 

This upcoming show will also feature a combination of high- and low-altitude fireworks at a multipurpose stage area in Thong Nhat Park in Hai Ba Trung District, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the country’s Reunification Day on April 30.
