Foreigner found dead at Da Nang hotel

At around 2:45 am on Wednesday, police in Duy Nghia Commune received a report from N.W.H. Hotel regarding a male foreigner found lying in the lobby, according to the Da Nang People’s Procuracy portal.

The victim may have fallen from a height.

The man was rushed to Sai Gon-Hoi An General Hospital for emergency treatment, but he was pronounced dead upon arrival.

Preliminary checks and a review of the hotel’s security camera footage recorded images of two foreign men displaying suspicious behavior.

The footage showed the two men leaving the hotel in a hurry shortly after the victim was discovered in the lobby.

Following the report, local prosecutors, in coordination with investigative police and other forces, conducted a scene examination in accordance with legal procedures.

At the scene, investigators collected traces, documents, and physical evidence to serve the ongoing inquiry.

The case remains under investigation.
