French movies to be screened at low price

Eleven French movies will be screened in Ho Chi Minh City at the low price of VND40,000 (US$1.9) from July 20 to September 27.

The movies will be showcased by MegaStar Cineplex as part of the audiovisual cooperation program between France and Vietnam. The program is organized by the French Cultural Centre in Vietnam in collaboration with the cinema.

According to the organizers, they hope to bring more artistic movies to Vietnamese audience with a desire to contribute to the development of Vietnam’s movie industry, as well as cultural exchanges between two nations through cinematic language.

The films include Un Plan Parfait,  Le Petit Nicolas, Une Vie De Chat, Intouchables, The Artist, L’illusionniste, Mauvaise Foi, Le Tableau, De Vrais Mensonges, Liberté and Le Chat Du Rabbin, all of which will be shown with French with Vietnamese subtitles.

There will be one session only on a specific day for each film.
