Hanoi apartment resident caught on camera assaulting owners’ committee member over dog muzzle dispute
Police in Dai Thanh Commune, Hanoi said on Monday they were investigating an incident in which an owners’ committee member was captured on camera being assaulted after reminding a resident to muzzle his dog in shared spaces.

The altercation reportedly took place at the CT8 building in the Dai Thanh apartment complex in suburban Hanoi.
According to residents, the CT8 owners’ committee received complaints on Sunday about a resident from the 22nd floor bringing a large dog into the elevator and the hallway without a muzzle or safety measures.
After reviewing surveillance footage, a working group including owners’ committee members and security staff met the 22nd-floor resident to remind him about pet safety rules.

However, footage extracted from surveillance cameras showed a heated argument breaking out during the discussion.
The video reportedly captured a man suddenly lunging at and slapping an owners’ committee member during the confrontation.
The assaulted person later required medical examination and treatment following the incident.
