The remaining four sites will be arranged at Thong Nhat Park in Hai Ba Trung Ward, the Formula 1 racetrack area in Tu Liem Ward, Lac Long Quan Flower Garden in Tay Ho Ward, and Van Quan Lake in Ha Dong Ward.
In addition to the fireworks, Hanoi will host a Countdown 2026 program from 7:00 pm to midnight on December 31 at Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square and throughout the pedestrian zone around Hoan Kiem Lake.
Looking ahead to the Lunar New Year holiday, known as Tet in Vietnam, the city plans an even larger fireworks program.
During the Tet celebrations, Hanoi will organize fireworks at 31 locations with a total of 32 firing positions.
Of these, 11 sites will feature a combination of high-altitude and low-altitude fireworks, while 21 sites will host low-altitude displays only.
