The event will take place at Cach Mang Thang Tam Square in Cua Nam Ward.
To ensure security and smooth organization, police will temporarily ban and restrict traffic from 2:00 pm through the end of Saturday.
All types of vehicles will be prohibited from running on streets surrounding the square.
These include Trang Tien Street (from Tran Quang Khai Street to Ngo Quyen Street), Phan Chu Trinh Street (from Ly Thuong Kiet Street to the square), Le Thanh Tong Street (from Ly Thuong Kiet Street to the square), Co Tan Street, Ly Thai To Street, Ngo Quyen Street, Hai Ba Trung Street (from Ngo Quyen Street to Le Thanh Tong Street), Dang Thai Than Street, and Pham Ngu Lao Street.
In addition, all trucks, specialized trucks, and passenger vehicles with 16 seaters or more will be banned, except for buses, garbage collection vehicles, emergency response vehicles, vehicles with security permits, and those belonging to the police, military, or other priority forces.
Restrictions will also apply to private cars and motorcycles on several routes, including Ngo Quyen Street (from Hai Ba Trung Street to Tran Hung Dao Street), Hai Ba Trung Street (from Ngo Quyen Street to Le Duan Street), Phan Chu Trinh Street (from Ly Thuong Kiet Street to Tran Hung Dao Street), Le Thanh Tong Street (from Ly Thuong Kiet Street to Tran Hung Dao Street), State Bank of Vietnam Square, Ly Dao Thanh Street, Tong Dan Street, Ly Thuong Kiet Street, Tran Hung Dao Street, Hang Bai Street, Ba Trieu Street, and Quang Trung Street.
During the restriction period, Hanoi police will organize alternative routes for vehicles affected by the bans.
Vehicles traveling from eastern and northeastern communes and wards such as Gia Lam, Long Bien, Phuc Loi, and Viet Hung to western and northwestern areas including Hai Ba Trung, Dong Da, Tu Liem, and O Dien are advised to use Nhat Tan, Long Bien, Vinh Tuy, or Thanh Tri Bridges, then proceed via Dyke Road 401, Tran Nhat Duat Street, Yen Phu Street, Thanh Nien Street, Vo Chi Cong Street, and Ring Road No. 3, and vice versa.
Vehicles traveling from northern wards and communes such as Tay Ho and Dong Anh to southern wards and communes including Hoang Mai and Thanh Tri are advised to use Nhat Tan or Thang Long Bridges, then follow Vo Chi Cong Street, Pham Van Dong Street, Pham Hung Street, Ring Road No. 2, Ring Road No. 3, and related routes, and vice versa.
Police requested the municipal Department of Construction to direct relevant units to adjust bus routes accordingly and to temporarily suspend vehicle parking on certain streets.
All road users are urged to strictly comply with traffic safety laws and follow the guidance and traffic control instructions of functional forces.
