Hanoi to stage fireworks at My Dinh Stadium next week
Hanoi will stage a high- and low-altitude fireworks display at My Dinh National Stadium at 8:00 pm next Tuesday as part of a program marking the 51st anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification of Vietnam (April 30).
The event is expected to draw about 38,000 participants and guests, according to a directive issued by the Hanoi People's Committee.
Fireworks will be launched from the stadium area and the nearby Formula One race track, with additional pyrotechnics set on the roof of Stand B.
The display will begin at 8:00 pm and run alongside the program's performances.
A preliminary rehearsal is scheduled for Sunday, followed by a full rehearsal on Monday.
The event is organized by the Party Central Committee's Commission for Information, Education, and Mass Mobilization and will feature performances by Vietnamese artists and bands.
