The exhibition, which runs until November 30 at Nguyen Hue Pedestrian Street, is part of the 2025 Autumn Economic Forum, which gathers leading experts, researchers, and enterprises in digital transformation, green technology, and green transition.
The exhibition space of the GRECO 2025 is divided into three main sections.
The first showcases digital technology achievements, innovation, AI, semiconductors, microchips, and high tech applications that support green transition.
The second introduces industry-specific products, including core solutions for energy, transport, smart cities, finance, tourism, and green consumption.
The third focuses on sustainable development and highlights ESG-oriented enterprises and innovative startups, reflecting the city’s commitment to building a circular and sustainable economy.
Speaking at the opening ceremony on Tuesday evening, Nguyen Van Dung, vice-chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee, underscored the significance of GRECO 2025.
He said the event takes place at a historic moment for the city as it has just completed an administrative expansion that brings together Vietnam’s three most dynamic economic hubs of Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, and Ba Ria - Vung Tau.
The three localities were merged into the expanded Ho Chi Minh City on July 1.

City leaders reiterated the aspiration to transform Ho Chi Minh City into a modern, smart megacity by 2030, a global top-100 innovation center with a strong innovation ecosystem, sustainable development, and regional and international competitiveness.
“GRECO 2025 is not only a venue to showcase products but also a bridge for businesses, especially small- and medium-sized enterprises, to meet strategic partners and expand markets and investment opportunities,” Dung said.
“The city is striving to promote a green lifestyle and encourage sustainable consumption in support of national goals for green growth and carbon neutrality."
The vice-chairman added that to achieve these strategic goals, the city will continue to renew its growth model and restructure its economy based on science, technology, and innovation.
It will accelerate comprehensive digital and green transformation, develop a knowledge-based economy, and deepen its participation in global value chains.
At the same time, the city needs to strengthen mechanisms and policies that support enterprises and help them grow, integrate, and compete.
The event features various sideline activities, including a seminar on semiconductor workforce training, a 'trash for gifts' program, and networking sessions for businesses from Vietnam and abroad.
