The latest station was inaugurated on Tuesday as part of the city's efforts to expand the Digital Citizen Station model and bring digital services closer to residents.
The model is led by the Ministry of Public Security's Police Department for Administrative Management of Social Order and the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Public Security.
The agencies are coordinating with Long Chau, a private pharmacy and vaccination chain operated by FPT Retail, a member of Vietnamese retail and technology conglomerate FPT Group, and city-based Gotrust Technology Solution & Service Joint Stock Company, which jointly operate healthcare services at the Digital Citizen Stations.

Before the Tan Hung Ward station, the model had been rolled out at six other locations across Ho Chi Minh City, including Binh Phu Ward, Nguyen Hue Pedestrian Street, and major urban developments such as Celadon City, Vinhomes Ba Son, Diamond Island, and Cityland Park Hills.
Col. Ngo Xuan Tho, head of the Administrative Management of Social Order Police Division under the municipal Department of Public Security, said the launch and expansion of the model reflected a shift from administrative management to administrative service.
Built on Vietnam's national electronic identification and authentication platform, VNeID, the Digital Citizen Station uses modern technology and artificial intelligence to provide residents with free access to digital healthcare, a key component of the model.
At the Tan Hung station and other locations, users can log in with their citizen ID cards or VNeID accounts and verify their identities through biometric authentication before using specialized medical devices that meet strict standards for hospital examinations.

Residents can quickly, securely and conveniently check health indicators including height, weight, body mass index (BMI), blood oxygen saturation (SpO2), blood pressure and heart rate, as well as body fat, body water and energy levels.
They can also schedule vaccinations, consult doctors and healthcare professionals, and use digital pharmacy services to order prescription medicines and have them delivered free of charge.
H.T. Lanh, a 67-year-old resident of Tan Hung Ward, said she was pleased to have a Digital Citizen Station near her home.
“After reading news about the Digital Citizen Station, especially after my children let me try the health monitoring equipment on the pedestrian street, I really liked the model and hoped it would be available near my home,” she said.
“Now that there is a station here, I can conveniently monitor my health every day, order medicine, or check my grandchildren's height and weight when I pick them up from school.”

Beyond healthcare, the stations also provide residents with other essential services, including public administrative services, security and safety, civic utilities, look-up and payment of traffic fines, and financial and banking services.
The launch of such stations contributes to the implementation of the government's Project 06 and Politburo's Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW on digital transformation, helping connect authorities with residents and simplify administrative procedures through chip-based citizen ID cards and VNeID.
The public-private partnership behind the Digital Citizen Station initiative is expected to help optimize resources and bring advanced digital solutions into people's daily lives while making essential public and healthcare services more accessible within residential communities.
