The other hosts are Wuhan Jiangda of China and ISPE of Myanmar.

Twelve teams will compete in three groups of four in a single round-robin format.

The top two teams in each group and the two best third-placed sides will advance to the quarterfinals.

The group-stage draw will be held on Thursday.

Ho Chi Minh City FC are seeded in Pot 2.

The Myanmar group will play from November 9 to 15, Vietnam from November 13 to 19, and China from November 17 to 23.

Ho Chi Minh City FC are currently competing in the domestic league without foreign or overseas Vietnamese players.

Coach Doan Thi Kim Chi said suitable foreign signings are difficult to secure on short-term deals, and most overseas Vietnamese players are under contract abroad.

Last AFC Women's Champions League season, Ho Chi Minh City finished second in their group before coming from 3-0 down to beat Abu Dhabi Country Club of the United Arab Emirates 5-4 in the quarterfinals.

They lost 2-0 to Wuhan Jiangda in the semifinals.
