Construction of Tran Dai Nghia Elementary School in Binh Hung Hoa Ward began seven months ago and has reached about 85-percent completion.

The main structure is finished and interior work is under way, said Pham Hoang Khanh, a deputy chairman of the ward's People's Committee.

The school is expected to be completed and put into operation in the first quarter of 2026.

Authorities have also started building a middle school on adjacent land as part of the third phase of the Binh Hung Hoa cemetery relocation project, aimed at expanding educational facilities in the area.

The relocation of graves at Binh Hung Hoa cemetery is entering a critical stage, authorities said.

Of the 21,569 graves affected in the project’s third phase, about 43 percent have been relocated so far, enabling the site’s future conversion for public services and social infrastructure.
