The city’s Management Center of Public Transport confirmed that bus routes 1, 4, 8, 15, 22, 27, 43, 62, 65, 70, 74, 81, 110, 139, 152, and 170 are included in the initiative.
The move is part of the city’s broader digital transformation strategy to modernize public transport services, improve transparency, and enhance passenger convenience.
Under the new system, passengers no longer receive paper tickets.
Instead, all ticket information is recorded electronically.
For cashless payments, riders registered on the MultiGo app can tap a card or scan a QR code on bus-installed devices.
Successful transactions trigger an audio signal, and the e-ticket is automatically stored in the app for verification.
Passengers who are not registered on MultiGo can still pay by tapping a card or scanning a QR code, with the ticket displayed on the device screen.
For cash payments, bus staff issue e-tickets through handheld devices, which also generate electronic invoices and transmit data to tax authorities.
