The Ho Chi Minh City Women’s Union presented 83 sets of ao dai at the event, including 55 sets to Belarusian women, 20 sets to Vietnamese women living in Belarus, and eight sets to female staff at the Vietnamese Embassy in Minsk.
The gesture coincided with Belarus’s 2026 celebration honoring women, adding symbolic meaning to the exchange.
The Ho Chi Minh City Women’s Union expressed hope to expand connections with international women’s organizations, creating opportunities for women to share experiences, strengthen mutual understanding, and collaborate on community initiatives.
