Reporting to the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee at a review meeting, SAWACO said it maintained full clean-water coverage for more than 10 million residents in 2025.
The utility added that it has maintained 100-percent access to clean water for residents across the city.
SAWACO said its average non-revenue water rate fell to 12.51 percent in 2025, down 1.09 percentage points from its annual target and 0.33 points from 2024.
New installations of small water meters reached 135.47 percent of plan, helping extend supply to underserved areas.
It also installed 14 public drinking-water taps on city streets and plans to continue pilot programs for direct drinking water in 2026.
City officials praised the results but urged SAWACO to further improve workforce quality, accelerate digital transformation, ensure water-source security, and make customer satisfaction a key performance measure.
SAWACO chairman Duong Hong Nhan said the company would address remaining shortcomings as a priority in 2026.
