Ho Chi Minh City is set to start a series of artistic lighting projects in June, enhancing the nighttime charm of the city's historic and cultural landmarks.

According to the Ho Chi Minh City Urban Infrastructure Construction Investment Project Management Board, work will begin next month on artistic lighting installations at Mong Bridge, Ho Chi Minh City Museum, and Ho Chi Minh City Children's House.

These projects have already received investment approval and contractor selection from the municipal People’s Committee.

The installations are expected to be completed within the year, adding visual appeal to key sites in the city.

The city aims to illuminate several historical and cultural landmarks, including Ton Duc Thang Museum, Thu Ngu Flagpole, Mong Bridge, Ho Chi Minh City Museum, Ho Chi Minh City Children’s House, Reunification Palace, and Ben Thanh Market.

The municipal administration tasked the management board with leading the implementation, in collaboration with relevant departments and agencies.

This effort followed the successful lighting of Ba Son Bridge linking the two banks of the Saigon River earlier this year.
