The program is organized into three courses across three time frames, available for two groups of trainees.
The first swimming course, running from May 20 to June 19, is open to cadres, public officials, civil servants, and employees working in departments and public units under the municipal Department of Culture and Sports.
Registration for this course began on May 12 and will remain valid until training begins.
Classes will be held from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm every Tuesday and Thursday at the center, located at 1 Nguyen Thi Minh Khai Street, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1.
The second and third courses are open to all permanent residents of Ho Chi Minh City aged 10 and above.
The second course will run from September 9 to October 14, with registration starting August 18.
The third course will take place from November 4 to December 4, with registration beginning on November 10.
Classes for these two courses will also be held at the center, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
The curriculum for all three courses will cover fundamental swimming skills and basic breaststroke techniques.
These free courses are offered to celebrate Vietnam’s major holidays in 2025 and are part of a broader initiative to encourage physical training among people, improve community health, and reduce the risk of drowning, according to the center.
