HTV elevates SEA Games viewing with vibrant, multi-angle coverage

Counting down to ‘VANG’ program on HTV

Football fans will be immersed in the thrill of the ‘king of sports’ at the 33rd SEA Games as they follow every step of Vietnam’s U22 men’s team and the women’s team, looking forward to unforgettable golden moments and the ultimate goal of winning the prestigious Gold Medal on Thai soil.

Every match will be broadcast live on HTV, as well as on its digital platforms, including the HTVm and VOHm apps, HTV Sports’ YouTube channel, and HTV The Thao on Facebook and TikTok.

For the first time, HTV will introduce three simultaneous commentary streams for each football match:

– Neutral commentary: with a focus on in-depth analysis, featuring veteran commentators with the signature Southern tone such as Xuan Cuong, Quang Huy, Tuan Lam, Thai An, Thanh Hiep, and The Man.

– Interactive commentary: youthful, expressive, trend-catching, and designed to amplify fan engagement.

– FM radio commentary: broadcast on 87.8MHz, led by familiar voices Huynh Sang and Cong Phan.

Within the ‘VANG’ program, audiences will meet special guests, including football experts, entertainment stars, and public figures, who will share insights, emotions, and perspectives, joining fans in a shared passion for the game.

HTV will offer wide-ranging coverage of multiple sports so that audiences can support and cheer on Vietnamese athletes who strive for prestigious gold medals at the 33rd SEA Games.

While organizers announced live broadcasts of 29 out of 54 sports, with a focus on Thailand’s home teams at the Broadcaster Meeting and Press Briefing, HTV aims to go further.

– Newscast 1% at 7:50 pm on HTV9: a quick roundup of results, medal standings, and highlight moments of the day.

– Sac Mau SEA Games 2025 (Colors of SEA Games 2025) at 9:00 pm on HTV The Thao, telling audiences inspirational stories behind the medals, featuring a panoramic view of the 33rd SEA Games, and highlighting cultural features about Thailand.
