Hyundai debuts Mighty N500 series in Vietnam with 1.9m-high cargo box

The new lineup includes three variants: the N500A, N500LA, and N550LA.

These trucks support payload capacities ranging from 1.9 to 2.7 metric tons and feature a maximum cargo length of up to 4.5 meters.

The N500LA and N550LA variants offer longer cargo beds than many existing models in the market.

Hyundai offers a variety of cargo box configurations for the Mighty N500 series, including canvas-covered, closed box, flatbed, composite, and refrigerated options, allowing the trucks to accommodate a wide range of transportation needs across different industries.

Inside the cabin, the Mighty N500 is equipped with conveniently arranged control buttons and an electrically assisted steering wheel with adjustable tilt.

For added visibility and safety, the trucks also come with fog lamps mounted on the cabin roof.

All three variants are powered by the Euro 5-compliant D4CB engine, which delivers a maximum output of 136 horsepower at 3,800 revolutions per minute and a peak torque of 294 Nm at 1,250 revolutions per minute.

The trucks are fitted with 7.00R16 tires, a high ground clearance, and a rear leaf spring suspension system positioned outside the chassis frame.

The manufacturer said that the configuration enhances stability and durability when these trucks operate on diverse road surfaces.
