Tuoi Tre (Youth) newspaper reporters observed that the area near Ba Son metro station at the Saigon Marina complex features well-arranged flower beds, decorative displays and riverside walkways in a modern urban setting.

Familiar rural elements such as bamboo, dried straw, and conical hats are thoughtfully incorporated alongside tens of thousands of blooming cosmos, sunflowers, and golden Chrysanthemum, bringing a vivid sense of rural charm to the urban landscape.

In the evening, the area becomes especially lively as crowds gather to walk, relax, and capture early-year moments amid lights and floral colors.

Many families bring young children to play and take photos, adding to the festive and cheerful atmosphere.

Beyond the Ba Son metro station area, sunflower fields at Saigon River Park in An Khanh Ward have also come into full bloom.

The bright yellow flowers line the riverside walkway, attracting visitors for sightseeing and photography.

The sunflower gardens are planted in clusters along the path, forming striking landscape highlights that open up views toward the river and the buildings on the opposite bank.

Regular maintenance and pruning help ensure a clean, cohesive appearance of the garden.

In addition to serving visitors’ recreational needs, the space contributes to preserving greenery and fostering community activities along the river.

Meanwhile, Le Van Tam Park remains a familiar destination for city residents.

Its floral displays, green spaces, and walking paths continue to attract morning exercisers as well as families with children in the late afternoon and evening.

The early-year atmosphere there is calm and pleasant amid the bustle of the city.

Elsewhere, many other parks, squares, and riverside areas in Ho Chi Minh City have also been upgraded and decorated with flowers for the start of the year.

Increasing investment in public spaces not only enhances the city’s urban landscape but also offers residents more options for leisure and relaxation during the early days of spring.
