According to authorities in Vinh Loc Ward, Nghe An Province, the man and woman visited a second-hand motorcycle shop on Wednesday, where they posed as a married couple.

After inspecting a few bikes, the man requested a test ride of a Kawasaki Ninja 300, leaving the woman at the dealership.

The woman, who had recently met the man online and introduced him to her family in Nghe An, later told police she was left behind when the man drove off with the motorcycle.

However, the bike had been stripped of its decals and was being transported in a sleeper bus.

As of Saturday, the man had not been found.
