The Khanh Hoa Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism announced on Monday an extensive line-up of summer activities expected to attract large numbers of visitors at home and abroad.
The season opens with the Cham Ethnic Culture Festival in late June.
The three-day event, scheduled for June 26 to June 28, will bring together about 700 Cham artisans, performers, and amateur athletes from multiple provinces and cities across Vietnam.
Visitors will have the opportunity to experience traditional Cham rituals and festivals, folk music performances, ethnic costume showcases, traditional handicraft demonstrations, and a variety of folk sports activities.
At the same time, the Sea Star Nha Trang Bay International Swimming Tournament 2026 will take place from June 27 to June 28 in Nha Trang Bay, with about 1,500 domestic and international athletes expected to compete in the event.
July will mark the peak of the summer season with the Khanh Hoa Sea Festival 2026 serving as the province’s flagship attraction.

A wide range of accompanying events will also be held, including the Bird’s Nest Cultural and Culinary Festival, the Vietnam Ao Dai Festival, food fairs, street art performances, a fruit festival, photography exhibitions, a sailing regatta, the Nha Trang City Trail race, and numerous other sporting competitions.
In August, the VnExpress Marathon Nha Trang 2026 is expected to attract approximately 12,000 runners to participate in races along scenic coastal routes.
Khanh Hoa is also working with Sen Vang Company to host activities of the 73rd Miss World pageant, in the hope of bringing the grand finale to Nha Trang in September.
Apart from the headline events, major tourist attractions including VinWonders Nha Trang, Do Theater, and CaraWorld Cam Ranh are organizing entertainment programs throughout the summer to enhance visitor experiences.
In 2026, the coastal province aims to welcome 6.3 million international visitors and 12.5 million domestic travelers, with tourism revenue projected to reach VND77 trillion (US$2.9 billion).
The province has already recorded strong growth this year.
During the first five months of 2026, Khanh Hoa welcomed about 9.2 million visitors, up nearly 53 percent compared with the same period last year.
International arrivals exceeded 3.8 million, representing growth of nearly 66 percent.
The province’s January-May tourism revenue reached an estimated VND33.9 trillion ($1.3 billion).
