Lao, Cambodian troops rehearse for Vietnam's Reunification Day parade

A representative from the Binh Duong Province Military Command on Tuesday confirmed ongoing coordination and support efforts with the Lao and Cambodian military units.

The military forces from the two nations are training in Binh Duong New City, some 30 kilometers from Ho Chi Minh City.

Arriving in Vietnam several days ago, each delegation comprises over 100 military personnel.

Their participation comes at the invitation of Vietnam’s Ministry of National Defense, symbolizing the enduring friendship and special solidarity among the peoples and armed forces of the three neighboring nations.

Representatives from both the Lao People's Army and the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces expressed their pride and gratitude at being invited to take part in the grand parade, as well as appreciation for the warm hospitality extended by the host.

Senior Colonel Nguyen Dinh Chuan from the provincial Military Command stated that the province was honored to host and support the foreign military delegations.

This is both a responsibility and a privilege for Binh Duong to contribute to the success of such a significant national event, he said.

The province has pledged to stand by the international partners throughout the rehearsal period, organizing an array of cultural exchange programs to excite the foreign troops.
