The fest is set to feature a series of cultural, artistic, and culinary activities, running through June 14.
Entering the peak summer travel season, the city is hosting a range of major events, including the 2026 Da Nang International Fireworks Festival, which opened over the Han River on the evening of May 31.
An Hai Festival is expected to become a new tourism attraction, helping extend visitors’ stays and enrich their travel experiences.

The fest is treating residents and tourists to the ‘Taste’ food street, with more than 100 booths showcasing Da Nang’s seafood specialties, OCOP (One Commune One Product)-certified products, and a variety of local street foods.
The seaside culinary zone operates daily from 6:00 pm until midnight.
Fest-goer Le Phuong shared that the festival offers a fresh seaside experience.

“People can enjoy artistic performances, discover local cuisine, and immerse themselves in the vibrant atmosphere of a summer festival by the beach,” she said.

According to organizers, this year’s festival includes a diverse range of experiential spaces and entertainment programs.
Different musical performances are entertaining fest-goers every evening during the week-long festival, including traditional folk music, acoustic sets, and contemporary DJ shows.
Notably, a music show combining traditional gong music around a bonfire with modern EDM is scheduled for June 10, creating a unique blend of cultural heritage and contemporary entertainment.

The beach area will also host numerous sporting and folk activities, including beach volleyball, tug-of-war on sand, stick-pushing competitions, basket boat spinning, fishing-net weaving demonstrations, and a sand model design contest.
The festival will wrap up with a closing-night program featuring a flashlight performance and a community choir, promising a vibrant display of light and music along Da Nang’s coastline.
Hoang Cong Thanh, chairman of the An Hai Ward People’s Committee and head of the festival organizing board, said the event represents a fusion of music, art, and culinary culture while showcasing the beauty of My Khe Beach and unique local values.
“An Hai Festival 2026 is expected to become a new summer tourist product for Da Nang, helping promote the city’s coastal tourism image,” Thanh said.
“Besides, it is meant to create business opportunities for enterprises in hospitality, dining, services, and commerce, contributing to the development of An Hai Ward as a modern urban area and a key tourism destination of Da Nang,” he added.
