Malaysian auto company director found dead in Vietnam factory residence
A Malaysian director of an automobile manufacturing company in Phu Yen Province, south-central Vietnam was found dead on Sunday inside his sleeping quarters, prompting an official investigation, authorities confirmed the same day.

The deceased was identified as C.K.T., 69, director of JRD Vietnam Automobile Manufacturing Co., Ltd, located in Tuy An District.
According to initial reports, at around 4:00 am, a security guard conducting a routine check on the company premises discovered T. lying on the floor near his bed with the room door locked from the inside.
After multiple unsuccessful attempts to contact him, staff notified local police.
Upon arrival, authorities broke into the room and confirmed that T. had died.

An on-site examination and external forensic assessment were conducted, after which the body was transferred to the Phu Yen General Hospital morgue.
As the case involves a foreign national, the provincial administration has notified the Ho Chi Minh City Department of External Relations and the Consulate General of Malaysia to inform the victim’s family and coordinate procedures in line with diplomatic protocols.
