Miss Cosmo contestants don Vietnam’s traditional ‘ao dai’ in celebrations of National Day

The contestants wore ao dai and conical hats painted with the national flag during a show in Ho Chi Minh City.

The collection, titled ‘Hoa Vu’ (Peaceful Dance), was designed by Huynh Bao Toan and Pham Si Toan of the Song Toan fashion brand.

The designers said the garments incorporated white doves and floral motifs to symbolize peace and national celebration.

The color scheme included white and pastel blue, chosen to reflect calm and elegance.

Miss Cosmo Vietnam 2025 winner Nguyen Hoang Phuong Linh and runner-up Do Cam Ly took part in the show.

Miss Cosmo Vietnam 2023 Bui Xuan Hanh performed a song as background music during the presentation.

Earlier, contestants visited provinces in southern Vietnam, where they wore ba ba (southern garments) and participated in river-themed activities.

These side events are part of the Miss Cosmo 2025 pageant, which is being hosted in Vietnam for the second time.

This year’s competition runs from November 28 to December 20, with events in Hue City, Lam Dong Province, Tay Ninh Province, and Ho Chi Minh City.

The final will be held on December 20 and broadcast live on AXN.
