As part of their journey through Hai Phong, 111 contestants of Miss World 2026 were divided into groups to take part in a range of activities at the Doi Rong international tourist area, or Dragon Ocean Do Son.
One of the highlights was an experiential visit to the Dragon mangrove forest, where the beauty queens learned about the coastal ecosystem and took part in tree planting.
Guides introduced the contestants to the mangrove ecosystem in Do Son, explaining the forest’s role in protecting and shaping the coastal landscape, as well as its importance to local flora and fauna.
The beauties then put on boots and gloves and waded through the mud to plant trees themselves, creating memorable moments during their Miss World journey.

They also enjoyed searching for crabs and collecting shellfish on the mudflats, gaining a closer understanding of the ecosystem and the livelihoods of local coastal communities.
Amid the picturesque natural surroundings, the contestants joined a conical-hat painting workshop.
Each beauty chose her own colors and designs or wrote a personal message on her hat.
The contestants also sampled tea, local cakes and Bang La apple, a specialty closely associated with the Do Son land.

According to the organizers, Dragon Beach will also host Vietnam Beauty Fashion Fest XVI, combined with the Top Model competition, on Tuesday.
