New destination for Vietnam’s running community unveiled

As adidas' first store in Vietnam dedicated exclusively to the running category, the new space marks another milestone in the brand's long-term commitment to supporting the country's growing running community while expanding dedicated retail experiences centered around sport.

Located at 72 Nguyen Co Thach Street, the adidas Sala Running Store is designed as a dedicated destination for runners, a space where the community can explore the latest adidas running innovations, connect with one another, and prepare for their next run.

The opening comes at a time when the running culture in Vietnam continues to gain strong momentum, particularly among younger urban communities.

In recent years, running has evolved beyond a fitness activity to become part of a broader modern lifestyle trend associated with wellness, balance, self-improvement, and social connection.

Unlike traditional multi-category sports retail formats, the adidas Sala Running Store focuses entirely on the runner experience.

The store brings together footwear, apparel, and accessories developed for different running needs, from everyday training to more performance-focused goals.

Built around a modern, energetic retail concept, the store highlights adidas running’s focus on movement, performance, and innovation while offering both everyday runners and serious athletes a welcoming, expert-driven experience.

The store is also set to become a hub for adidas Runners Saigon (AR Saigon), one of Ho Chi Minh City’s most active running communities. 

Its opening featured a 5.3km challenge run with AR Saigon members and other local runners. 

Going forward, the Sala area, where the store is located, will host weekly training sessions and community events, helping strengthen the city’s running culture.
