Nvidia Vietnam, a leading corporation in AI technology, has signed a cooperation agreement with Cao Thang Technical College, aiming to bridge the gap between academic training and the practical demands of a rapidly evolving tech industry.

The signing ceremony for the memorandum of understanding between the two sides was held in Ho Chi Minh City on Thursday.

With the partnership, Nvidia has committed to annual funding, appointed experts to the advisory board, and will support IT training, marking a significant milestone in collaboration between the leading technology firm and Vietnam’s education sector.

Comprehensive partnership

Under the agreement, Nvidia will provide yearly sponsorship for educational activities, particularly events, seminars, and IT competitions.

The exact funding amount will be determined jointly, based on actual needs and the company’s capacity.

Nvidia will also assign technical personnel to join the IT department’s advisory board, co-organize thematic seminars, and participate in major school events.

The Nvidia brand will be featured in communication materials, on the college’s website, and at events hosted by the IT faculty.

For its part, Cao Thang Technical College has pledged to use the funds transparently and effectively, strictly for their intended purposes, while acknowledging and honoring Nvidia’s contributions in relevant activities.

The partnership agreement takes effect upon signing and will be renewed annually from 2025, unless either party issues written notice of termination.

Fostering AI integration in education

“Currently, Nvidia is engaging in multi-level partnerships across Vietnam, from the central government to various ministries and agencies," said Pham An Duong, country marketing director for Nvidia Vietnam and Cambodia.

"We will implement programs that incorporate Nvidia’s curriculum materials, technologies, hardware, and software into teaching, enabling students to apply AI more effectively in their studies and research.”

Dr. Le Dinh Kha, rector of Cao Thang Technical College, emphasized the school’s commitment to integrating AI into its training programs to enhance teaching and learning outcomes.

The IT department updates its curriculum every two years to align with the professional skills and competencies required by businesses, preparing students to thrive in the era of digital transformation.

Nvidia is a world-leading tech corporation shaping the future of artificial intelligence through both hardware and software.

Founded in the U.S. in 1993, the company initially made its name with its GeForce GPU line for gamers.

Today, Nvidia dominates the global AI semiconductor market, holding more than 80 percent of the market share in AI processing chips.

Nvidia’s GPUs, such as the H100 and B100, power the most advanced AI models in the world, from OpenAI’s ChatGPT to AI systems operated by Google, Microsoft, Meta, and Amazon.

As of early 2025, Nvidia’s market capitalization had surpassed US$2 trillion, placing it among the most valuable companies globally.

In Vietnam, Nvidia is expanding strategic partnerships with universities, colleges, and research institutions to embed AI technologies into education and cultivate the country’s future workforce.
