Phu Yen Province's beauty crowned new Miss Vietnam

Moments after her victory, the 1.72 m tall Linh, who previously won Miss Finance–Marketing University, expressed surprise and gratitude. 

"I didn't expect to win," she told reporters. 

Although she had settled on a dress many believed was a 'signal,' Linh said she had only hoped to make the top three or five. 

She aims to balance her studies with her duties as Miss Vietnam during her tenure.

Linh's platform focuses on resilience and social responsibility. 

She hails from a close-knit family in Phu Yen, where she participated actively in school and excelled in math and English. 

She overcame health and professional challenges, and aspires to inspire and contribute to sustainable social development.

The Miss Vietnam winner receives the crown and a prize of VND500 million (US$19,160).

First runner-up title, worth VND300 million ($11,496) went to Lieutenant Tran Ngoc Chau Anh, the first female military officer to reach the beauty pageant final. 

Second runner-up Nguyen Thi Van Nhi, a 2005 student at Phenikaa University from Hai Phong City, was awarded VND250 million ($9,580).
