Police investigate death of foreign national at Ho Chi Minh City hotel

Officers from the municipal Department of Public Security, working with local police in Hanh Thong Tay, cordoned off the scene at a hotel located in an alley off Quang Trung Street after the body was discovered earlier in the day.

According to initial information, hotel staff found the male guest dead when checking his room on Friday morning and reported the incident to authorities.

By midday, multiple police vehicles and officers were stationed outside the hotel, and access to the main lobby was temporarily restricted as investigators conducted a forensic examination of the scene and the body.

The victim's body was later transferred to a morgue shortly after 12:00 pm for further legal procedures, police said.
