During the visit, students from the Bachelor of Languages program of the university’s School of Communication and Design met with editors and reporters from Tuoi Tre’s World News Desk and Tuoi Tre News, the English-language edition of the newspaper, to observe the workflow for processing international news and English-language content production.
Nguyen Thanh Liem, managing editor at Tuoi Tre, said the program gave students practical exposure to a professional newsroom environment and the production process for news coverage serving both Vietnamese and foreign readers.

He also introduced students to Tuoi Tre’s integrated newsroom model, where print and digital editorial teams work in the same space as part of the newspaper’s digital transformation strategy.
Founded in September 1975, Tuoi Tre has grown into one of Vietnam’s largest news organizations, maintaining operations across print and digital platforms while expanding English-language coverage through Tuoi Tre News.
