Speaking during a meeting with Vietnamese Health Minister Dao Hong Lan in Hanoi, Murashko said the two countries are discussing a wide-range health partnership.
Areas of cooperation under discussion include the exchange of medical equipment, specialists in maternal and child health, oncology technologies, biotechnology, ophthalmology, dentistry, and traditional medicine.
The ministers also discussed collaboration in pharmaceutical research and development, early disease screening, and digital health initiatives.

Murashko said Russia is particularly interested in expanding health-linked tourism, allowing Russian citizens to access treatment and healthcare services in Vietnam.
He added that the Russian Health Ministry is ready to provide Vietnam with a list of leading hospitals, vaccine research centers, technology institutions, and pharmaceutical companies to explore further collaboration.

During his visit, Murashko toured the Vietnam-Russia Eye Hospital in Hanoi, which is the only facility in Vietnam to receive transferred ophthalmic microsurgery techniques from the S. Fyodorov Eye Microsurgery Federal State Institution in Russia.
The Russian delegation also included representatives from pediatric centers and specialists in pediatric ocular oncology.
Murashko said Russia is developing several drugs and vaccines with potential to prevent childhood cancers, and expressed interest in sharing these developments with Vietnamese partners.
