Local authorities said staff at the Bai Mon-Mui Dai Lanh tourist site coordinated with local police, border guards and other rescue forces to bring the tourists safely back to shore.
The group consisted of four visitors aged between 21 and 32 who had traveled from Nha Trang in neighboring Khanh Hoa Province to Bai Mon Beach earlier in the day for sightseeing.
While swimming, three male members of the group were carried away by rough seas into a rocky area and were unable to return to shore on their own.
At around 1:00 pm, a female member of the group alerted a tour guide, who then informed staff at the tourist site.
Local authorities and rescue teams were immediately mobilized to the scene.
When rescuers reached the tourists, they were exhausted and stranded on rocky outcrops. They had suffered multiple cuts and abrasions after being battered by waves against the rocks.
The three men were safely brought ashore and given first aid treatment for their injuries.
Before continuing their journey, the tourists sent a letter expressing their gratitude to the rescue teams.

Avramenko, the female member of the group, wrote the thank-you letter in both English and Russian, praising the swift response and dedication of the rescuers.
In the letter, she said the group would always remember the kindness and warm hospitality of the Vietnamese people, adding that the timely rescue operation had ensured that all members of the group returned safely to shore.
Located in Hoa Xuan Commune of Dak Lak Province (formerly Hoa Tam Commune, Dong Hoa District, Phu Yen Province), Bai Mon is a scenic coastal destination celebrated for its pristine landscape and tranquil atmosphere.
The beach lies at the foot of Mui Dai Lanh, also known as Mui Dien, the easternmost point on Vietnam’s mainland and one of the country’s earliest sunrise-viewing spots.
Its untouched charm and iconic location have made the Bai Mon-Mui Dien area a favorite among nature enthusiasts and adventure seekers alike.
