Saigontourist’s culinary festival wins double honors at World Culinary Awards 2025

Saigontourist Group was the only Vietnamese representative to be honored at this prestigious global culinary awards event.

It also marks the group’s fourth straight win for Asia and third for the world title.

According to Truong Duc Hung, general director of Saigontourist Group, the double victory is not only a source of pride for the company but also for Vietnamese culinary culture as a whole.

“This award represents more than a title,” Hung said.

“It is recognition of the persistent and professional efforts of the Saigontourist Group team throughout our long journey, especially in our 50th anniversary year (1975–2025), marking half a century of growing alongside the nation,” he added.

The “Saigontourist Group Culinary Culture, Delicacies Festival 2025,” taking place from March 27-30, 2025 at Van Thanh Tourist Area in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, recorded over 70,000 visitors.

This year’s festival introduced an unforgettable journey of taste discovery with over 600 selected dishes and drinks from all three regions of Vietnam, demonstrating the diversity and richness of local Vietnamese products.

It also recreated the vibrant atmosphere of a Mekong Delta floating market right in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City, where traders sold goods from boats and along the docks to the sound of traditional folk songs, bringing the spirit of community culture to life at the festival.

Expanding its reach beyond Vietnam, Saigontourist Group has also brought international editions of the festival abroad, notably the 2025 event in Osaka, Japan, which drew more than 100,000 attendees.
