SCG companies recognized for multiple years

Vina Kraft maintained its leading position, appearing on the list for the fifth consecutive year, while Prime Ngói Việt was recognized in its first year of participation.

Other SCG subsidiaries included in this year's ranking were Prime Tiền Phong, Prime Đại Việt, Prime Yên Bình, Prime Phổ Yên, and Prime Đại Lộc.

The recognition reflects SCG's ongoing efforts to implement consistent ESG strategies, innovate, and support Vietnam's Net Zero 2050 goal.

Kulachet Dharachandra, SCG's country director in Vietnam, said the CSI awards motivate companies to innovate and strengthen governance.

He noted that 2025 marks the ninth consecutive year SCG companies have been listed.

"SCG sees this as a reminder to continue leading by example while pursuing the ESG 4 Plus strategy alongside Vietnam's sustainable development goals," Dharachandra said.

"From this milestone, SCG will continue to innovate and implement projects that contribute to the environment, society, and economy."

SCG said its subsidiaries were recognized for consistently applying ESG strategies, adopting technological innovations, optimising energy use, and promoting circular economy practices in production.

Vina Kraft focuses on sustainable packaging and Net Zero initiatives by using modern technologies and increasing the use of renewable energy, including biomass, biogas, and solar power, integrating sustainability across its value chain.

Similarly, Prime Group factories have partially replaced coal with biomass for drying processes and invested in systems to recover and reuse waste heat.

In addition to production improvements, the companies develop sustainable products to meet market demand and promote responsible consumption.

Prime Group's sustainable products include ThinEco tiles, which reduce raw material use by 23 percent and energy consumption by 14–24 percent, and Flexitech surface technology, designed to support public health and sustainable living.

Focus on people, communities

SCG and its subsidiaries consider employees a core part of development, maintaining safe workplaces, diverse benefits, and sustainable career opportunities.

Vina Kraft enforces strict safety standards aiming for a 'No Injury, No Illness' workplace.

SCG also implements community programs, including school waste sorting education and Prime Group's 'Dreams Come True' program, which supports livelihoods and skill training for disadvantaged groups.

SCG companies maintain transparent operations.

Vina Kraft leads in calculating and verifying product carbon footprints according to scientific standards.

IoT technology is used to monitor production in real time, optimize operations, reduce risks, and help partners lower emissions across the value chain, supporting participation in carbon credit markets.

Commitment to Net Zero 2050

The CSI 2025 recognition underscores SCG and its subsidiaries' long-term commitment to sustainable business practices.

The group said it will continue expanding projects for the environment, society, and governance, contributing to Vietnam's Net Zero 2050 goal.
