The route is expected to operate three round-trip flights per week.
Nguyen Van Hung, director of the airport, said on Thursday that the airport had proposed Scoot move up the planned launch of the air service to December this year.
The earlier launch of the route would help meet increased travel demand during the peak tourism period, when the flower festival takes place, he said.
This year’s well-known fest is set to run from December 19 to 31.
A Scoot delegation had previously conducted an on-site survey at Lien Khuong International Airport to assess operating conditions and facilities for international flights.
Hung, along with representatives of the Southern Airports Authority at Lien Khuong, border police, customs officials and other relevant units, discussed with Scoot plans for coordinating international flight operations, including immigration procedures, security controls, customs clearance and health quarantine.
Under the original plan, Scoot was expected to launch the Da Lat-Singapore route on January 25, 2027, with three round-trip flights per week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
If the proposal is approved, the route will begin operations earlier than scheduled.
The service would be a regular international route, providing travelers between Lam Dong and Singapore with an additional option.
It is also meant to strengthen tourism, trade and investment links between the two markets.

Lien Khuong officially became an international airport in June 2024.
On March 4, the airport temporarily suspended operations for more than five months to allow repairs to its runway, taxiways and related facilities.
It reopened on August 19 with a capacity of 36-40 flights per day.
AirAsia flight AK571 from Kuala Lumpur landed at Lien Khuong on September 2, marking the first regular international flight to the airport following the prolonged closure.
In 2025, Lien Khuong International Airport handled some 1.95 million passengers, including more than 70,600 international travelers.
Under its development plan, the airport is expected to reach a capacity of around five million passengers annually by 2030.
