Skoda Vietnam has made a strong impression at the Quang Ninh Planning and Expo Center in Quang Ninh Province, northern Vietnam, unveiling its full lineup of vehicles currently available in the Vietnamese market.

The showcase is part of a broader exhibition celebrating five years of socio-economic development (2020–2025) in the province.

The exhibition runs daily from 9:00 am to 10:00 pm until October 5, offering the public opportunities to test-drive the Slavia, Kushaq, Karoq, and Kodiaq, and to explore the Volkswagen Group’s MQB platform as applied in Skoda’s locally produced models.

Organized within the booth of the Thanh Cong Viet Hung Automotive and Supporting Industries Complex (TCVH), the exhibit drew significant attention from both delegates and the general public on its opening day.

Quang Ninh holds special significance for Skoda, a Czech automobile manufacturer, in Vietnam, often referred to as the brand’s ‘home ground’ in the country.

It is the site where the Slavia and Kushaq models are assembled.

The centerpiece of the booth is the Slavia, Skoda’s latest entry into the competitive B-segment sedan market.

Officially launched on September 11, the Slavia targets rivals like the Toyota Vios, Honda City, and Hyundai Accent.

While breaking into a market dominated by Japanese and Korean automakers is no small feat, the Slavia offers a distinctly European option with accessible pricing.

The sedan is available in three variants, priced between VND468 million (US$17,725) and VND568 million ($21,510).

Meanwhile, the Kushaq continues to be Skoda Vietnam’s main earner.

Positioned in the B-segment SUV category, the Kushaq boasts European design and engineering, built on the Volkswagen Group’s MQB platform.

With a starting price of VND599 million ($22,690), it has garnered interest for its blend of performance, safety, and value.

Both the Slavia and Kushaq are powered by a 1.0L turbocharged engine, producing 115 PS and 178 Nm of torque.

The exhibit also includes the Karoq (C-segment SUV) and the Kodiaq (D-segment SUV).

The Kodiaq, considered Skoda Vietnam’s flagship model, sits on the advanced MQB Evo platform.

It is equipped with a suite of premium safety features, including seven airbags, adaptive headlights, driver steering assist, low-speed autonomous emergency braking, a drowsiness alert, a crew protect assist system, and a 360-degree camera system.

The TCVH complex spans 400 hectares in Quang Ninh and plays a pioneering role in the province’s industrial landscape.

Designed as a hub for automotive technology and supporting industries, the complex is a magnet for supply chain partners and high-tech, eco-friendly enterprises.

Quang Ninh is home to Skoda Vietnam’s largest national Experience and Product Showcase Center.
