International arrivals will climb sharply under the 2025 winter schedule, with more than 21,000 flights planned to operate to and from Da Nang International Airport between late October 2025 and late March 2026.
For November and December, the airport expects an average of 140 international flights per day.
The peak month is forecast to be February 2026, with 142 international flights daily, much higher than the 120 daily flights recorded at the end of October 2025.
Airport authorities said the period coincides with the Lunar New Year travel season, driving sharp increases on routes linking Da Nang with South Korea, mainland China, Taiwan, and Singapore.
Multiple airlines are expanding their operations for the winter, including Cebu Air, Eva Air, and Eastar Jet, which are increasing services from seven to an average of 10 flights per week.
Myanmar Airways International will double its frequency from two to four weekly flights, while Korean Air will expand from 14 to 21 weekly flights.
Philippines Air plans to raise service from three to seven weekly flights.
Air Busan and Hong Kong Airlines will double their frequencies from seven to 14 flights per week.
South Korea remains the dominant international market, representing more than 35 percent of all international flights to Da Nang, with 11 airlines operating regular routes between the two sides.

Da Nang’s tourism department expects the city to welcome more than 8.9 million international visitors in 2026, up 17 percent from 2025.
The coastal city projects stable growth from South Korea and Taiwan; a 5-10-percent increase from Japan and China; and a 10-20-percent increase from India.
Markets across Southeast Asia including the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore are forecast to grow 15-30 percent.
Da Nang aims to receive 19.5 million visitors in 2026, up 12 percent year on year, with tourism revenue from lodging, dining, and travel expected to exceed VND71 trillion (US$2.7 billion).
The city is also considering opening one or two international routes to Chu Lai Airport to boost regional connectivity, while maintaining and expanding international links to Da Nang Airport to feed domestic flight networks.
