S.Korean stars Kim Bum, Song Ji Hyo to arrive in Vietnam next month

As scheduled, Kim and Song will arrive in Ho Chi Minh City on August 28 and participate in cultural experience activities.

On August 29, they will appear at the main event, joining interactive sessions, beauty-themed talk shows, and sharing insights into South Korean aesthetic trends.

Kim will return to Vietnam as a brand ambassador, serving as a cultural and economic bridge between Vietnam and South Korea, especially in the beauty industry.

Meanwhile, Song will represent her own fashion brand.

This year's event is supported and accompanied by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Korea Foundation for Cooperation of Large & Small Business, Rural Affairs under South Korea’s Ministry of SMEs and Startups.

The summit is a key initiative backed by the South Korean government to promote global outreach and export growth for Korean beauty businesses.

In addition to Kim and Song, the event will feature popular Vietnamese singers such as Jun Pham, Bui Cong Nam, and Thanh Duy, promising vibrant and exciting performances.

This will not be the first time that Kim and Song have visited Vietnam. 

Both have previously interacted with Vietnamese fans through various events, fan meetings, and film promotions.

Kim began his career in 2006 and quickly gained public attention for his handsome appearance, charming demeanor, and natural acting talent.

He starred in notable dramas such as 'High Kick!', 'East of Eden,' and rose to stardom with his iconic role as So Yi Jung, a wealthy and artistic young man, in the hit drama 'Boys Over Flowers' in 2009.

The drama became a cultural phenomenon across Asia and cemented Kim's popularity.

Song Ji Hyo, born in 1981, started her career as a photo model before transitioning into acting in the early 2000s.

Her debut film role in Wishing Stairs earned her significant recognition in South Korea.

She continued to prove her acting prowess in films such as 'A Frozen Flower,' 'Emergency Couple,' and 'Princess Hours.'

A major turning point in her career came in 2010 when she became a regular cast member on the reality TV show 'Running Man.'

Beauty Summit 2025 will revolve around the theme 'GEN AI: Humans – Technology – A New World in the Beauty Industry.'

The program will include scientific conferences, medical training sessions, Vietnam-South Korea cultural exchange activities, exhibitions, and business networking events.
