Soldiers, special forces deliver spectacle of precision, power in Ho Chi Minh City
The Military Region 7 Command on Monday staged a striking large-scale artistic performance titled ‘Steadfast Under the Party's Glorious Flag’ in Ho Chi Minh City, featuring synchronized rifle drills, martial arts demonstrations, and traditional costume displays that captivated audiences.
The program attracted the participation of over 2,500 officers, soldiers, and female members of the Military Region 7’s armed forces.
The event was organized to celebrate the success of the 14th National Party Congress in January and this month's national election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026-31 term.
The program also paid tribute to a series of historic milestones, including the 95th anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 – March 26, 2026), the 1,986th anniversary of the Trung Sisters’ Uprising, the 116th International Women’s Day, the 33rd anniversary of the Military Women’s Tradition Day, and the 77th anniversary of the National Defense Trade Union.

The ceremony opened with solemn offerings of flowers and incense in remembrance of late President Ho Chi Minh, accompanied by a report honoring his legacy.
The highlight of the program lay in its dynamic performances by armed forces of the military region – precisely coordinated rifle dances and martial arts routines that demonstrated not only physical strength and agility but also high levels of technical and tactical proficiency.
The event featured cultural performances, including presentations of traditional ao dai and historical costumes.
More than a visual spectacle, the event served as a powerful portrayal of the resilience, determination, and spirit of Vietnam’s young soldiers.
It underscored their unwavering commitment to duty and their readiness to defend the nation.
