Aircraft participating in the rehearsal included Su-30MK2 fighter jets, Mi-series helicopters, Casa C-295 transport aircraft, Yak-130 light combat aircraft, and the L-39NG training jets.
The flights were conducted in tightly coordinated formations, drawing attention and admiration from onlookers gathered around the square.

The rehearsal involved 10 Mi helicopters from Air Regiments 916, 917, and 930, two Casa transport planes from Air Brigade 918, five Su-30MK2 fighters, six Yak-130 light combat aircraft from Air Regiment 940, and six L-39NG jets from Air Regiment 910.
In preparation for the aerial display of the upcoming military parade, elite Vietnamese pilots have been rigorously rehearsing at Kep Airport in Bac Ninh Province, as well as Hoa Lac and Gia Lam Airports in Hanoi.
These exercises are part of a comprehensive plan by the Air Defence-Air Force Service to ensure a flawless performance during the commemorative fly-past.
Air forces have meticulously studied the terrain and flight paths over the capital, developing detailed flight plans to guarantee precision and safety during the event.
A total of 40 aircraft, including fighter jets, transport planes, helicopters, and training aircraft, will participate in the official flyover for the National Day celebration.
Across all units involved, 78 coordinated flight sessions have been conducted to ensure absolute safety and readiness.
On Thursday morning, 10 Mi-series helicopters and two Casa transport aircraft also conducted training flights over various parts of Hanoi, including a survey pass over Ba Dinh Square.
