The cinematic green rice season in Vietnam’s Sa Pa few talk about

In recent days, Sa Pa has been cloaked in the fresh green of flowering rice terraces, like a scene from a Japanese anime. 

In the early morning, dewdrops rest on the rice flowers, their soft weight bending the stalks and adding to the serene beauty. 

According to local guide Hoang Gia, Nam Cang, Ta Van, Lao Chai, and Y Linh Ho Villages are prime spots for viewing the fields. 

Unlike the bustling harvest season, this is a quieter time for visitors to soak in Sa Pa’s gentle charm. 

The lush green of the rice and its delicate morning fragrance can soothe the soul. 

From Hanoi, travelers can reach Sa Pa by sleeper bus, private car, motorbike, or train, with a travel time of six to eight hours depending on the mode of transport. 

Besides admiring the beautiful terraces, visitors can also experience local culture, conquer Fansipan Peak, known as the Roof of Indochina, or savor specialties of the region.
