The match is scheduled to kick off at 8:00 pm on Wednesday at My Dinh National Stadium in Hanoi.

Demand for tickets increased after Vietnam beat Malaysia 2-0 away in the first leg on Sunday, putting Kim Sang Sik’s side in a strong position to reach the final.

The Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) offered tickets in four categories priced at VND300,000 ($11.50), VND500,000 ($19), VND700,000 ($27), and VND1 million ($38).

In the first online sale on August 8, all four categories sold out within hours.

A second batch went on sale on August 13 with only the three lower-priced categories available, as the $38 tickets had already been exhausted. Those tickets also sold out within hours.

High demand repeatedly overloaded the online ticketing system, with thousands of fans waiting in virtual queues.

With official tickets no longer available at face value, many supporters have turned to scalpers and online resale groups.

As of the morning of Monday, tickets on football trading forums were being offered at VND500,000-1 million ($19-$38) above their original prices.

Scalpers have also regularly gathered around My Dinh National Stadium during the tournament to resell tickets.

Resale prices are expected to rise further as the match approaches.

According to Tuoi Tre (Youth) online newspaper, the VFF has sold nearly all tickets for the fixture but has retained a portion for Malaysian supporters, the ASEAN Football Federation and its partners, VFF guests, and commercial partners.

If any of those allocated tickets remain unused, the federation may release additional seats to the public.

Vietnam entered the second leg as one of the tournament favorites after scoring 15 goals and conceding just once so far.

Forward Dinh Bac also leads the ASEAN Cup 2026 scoring chart with five goals.
