The training took place at Hoa Lac Airfield on the outskirts of Hanoi, where the Air Defense–Air Force Technical Institute coordinated with helicopter regiments 916, 917, and 930 to carry out test flights and flag displays.
Helicopters flew in a 1-3-3-3 formation while displaying the flags as part of preparations for upcoming official flyovers commemorating Vietnam's August Revolution (August 19) and National Day.
The Air Force said the country’s top pilots have been conducting intensive training in recent weeks to prepare for the high-profile event.
