The Vietnamese pair had drawn with Germany in the group stage, where Chien beat German veteran Martin Horn but Tu lost to Amir Ibraimov.
Both teams advanced through the knockout rounds to set up a rematch in the title decider.
In the final, Chien surged to a 16-5 lead against Horn before the German mounted a 12-point run to edge ahead 17-16 and carried a 23-19 advantage into the break, later extending it to 26-20 and 30-29.
Chien then produced an 11-point run to seal a 40-30 victory, putting Vietnam within reach of the title.
On the adjacent table, Tu built a commanding 23-8 lead over Ibraimov before the interval but saw his opponent close the gap after the restart.
He eventually clinched a 40-38 win after missing three consecutive attempts at 39-27 before securing the decisive point.
The two victories handed Vietnam their second World Championship National Teams 3-Cushion crown after also winning in 2025, and marked Chien’s second title in the annual event.
